# Apizie Finance: official-source data for AI agents

> Apizie Finance is a premium Apizie service. It serves data from six official publishers (SEC EDGAR, FRED, ECB, U.S. Treasury, GLEIF and World Bank) through one REST API and one MCP server. Every answer carries its source: publisher, official link, retrieval time, licence and attribution text.

Apizie serves normalized data from six official publishers through one REST API and an MCP server. Every successful response includes a `source` block: publisher, official URL, retrieval time, licence and attribution text, so an AI agent can cite it.

## FAQ
### What is Apizie Finance?
Apizie Finance is a premium Apizie service for AI agents that need official financial and economic facts. It serves normalized data from SEC EDGAR, FRED, the ECB, the U.S. Treasury, GLEIF and the World Bank through one REST API and an MCP server, and every response includes a source block with the publisher, the official URL, when it was retrieved and the licence.

### Why not call SEC EDGAR, FRED and the others directly?
You can, and for one source that is often the right call. Apizie saves the work of wiring each source one by one, normalizing its format, fixing it when it changes, respecting each publisher's access rules and keeping the source of every number for citations. That is what you pay for, not the data itself.

### Where does the data come from?
Directly from each publisher's official public API: data.sec.gov and EDGAR full-text search, the FRED API, the ECB Data Portal, Treasury Fiscal Data and the Treasury yield-curve feed, the GLEIF LEI API and the World Bank Indicators API. No scraping.

### How do I use it with Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?
Add the Apizie MCP server URL (/mcp). Claude and ChatGPT connect with OAuth and you choose read-only or read and write on the consent screen; Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI use an API key header. The agent can then fetch a company profile, rates or indicators and cite the source.

### How much does it cost?
Finance Starter is $49 a month (100,000 requests, commercial use inside your company, 5 data alerts). Finance Growth is $199 (1,000,000 requests, use in your own product with attribution, 50 alerts, bulk jobs). Finance Business is $499 (5,000,000 requests, 200 alerts). Pay yearly and get 2 months free. Redistribution and resale: Enterprise.

### Is there a free tier?
No. Apizie Finance is a paid add-on. The rest of Apizie, thousands of public APIs and the MCP server, stays free up to 1,000 requests a month, so you can build and test your integration before adding Finance.

### Does it replace my Apizie plan?
No. Finance runs next to your general plan (Free, Pro, Ultra or Max) with its own monthly quota. One API key and one MCP connection reach both.

Apizie is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the SEC, the Federal Reserve, the ECB, the U.S. Treasury, GLEIF or the World Bank. This product uses the FRED® API but is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
